The DBH Hummus Company makes 34 flavors of hummus from scratch using our own personal recipes. We attend various Farmers Markets, Community Events, and Special Events (Breweries/Grand Openings etc) under the DBH Hummus Company Tent solely focusing on producing and selling our prepackaged hummus, fresh baked pita bread, fresh baked pita chips, fresh salads, sweet treats, and more for you to take home and enjoy throughout the week.

Our Death By: Hummuscide food trailer is an extension of our bigger vision to serve fresh meals and feature our hummus in a new unique way. Don't get us wrong, pita bread and chips are a match made in heaven, but wait until you see what we do with our 34 flavors of hummus! Our Death By: Hummuscide trailer is a rolling kitchen serving a rotating menu of food combinations and options you've never seen before like our Signature Loaded Pita Fries, Grilled Pitzas, Birria Pork Pitadillas, Loaded Black Bean & Rice Bowls, Loaded BBQ Chicken Pita Nachos, Loaded Caramel Apple Pita Fries, and so much more! We attend Special Events, Breweries, Community Events, and very soon we hope to have our own "Semi-Regular" Location in Ocala, FL so you can find us more often on a regular basis. Every meal is made fresh to order free from preservatives and everything can be customized to your specific needs. We Proudly Do Food Differently So Rethink How You EAT HUMMUS!

Where Do You Go With Your Death By: Hummuscide Food Trailer?

We're based out of Marion County, just south of Ocala, and we relocated here in mid-2024 with the intent on being able to eventually serve throughout the area on a regular basis. Currently, we attend various events and pop up in Ocala, Gainesville, Cedar Key, Melbourne, and Cocoa. We're willing to travel from Jacksonville to Daytona To Orlando to Tampa and everything in between so if you have an event that you think we should attend, fill out our Contact Form and we'll be in touch!

We don't have a permanent location at this time, but we're working on a regular location in Ocala that we can pop up more frequently!

Why Do Some Events Say DBH Hummus Company And Others Say Death By: Hummuscide?

We've tried to make this as easy as possible because things can get confusing really quick.

If an event says "DBH Hummus Company," we'll be set up with our tent and selling prepackaged hummus, pita, chips, salads, and more for you to take home.

If an event says "Death By: Hummuscide," we'll be set up with our food trailer serving fresh meals made to order that are ready to eat on site.

*At this time, we do not have hummus and fresh pita available to go from our food trailer. Maybe one day we'll be able to do that, but at this time due to space limitations, it's not feasible for us right now.

Does Your Hummus Or Food Have Any Preservatives In It?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! THE END!

We are proud to be preservative free for many reasons, but we won't bore you with the full story until we see you in person. We follow the Quality Over quantity way of life, especially since we're surrounded by so much processed garbage everywhere we look, so we're doing our part to pass along a healthier way of eating that just makes you feel better from the inside out. You can always be assured that our hummus, fresh pita bread, pita chips, salads, sweet treats, and every single meal made fresh on our Death By: Hummuscide food trailer does NOT contain any preservatives whatsoever! We Proudly Do Food Differently!

Does Your Hummus And Pita Bread Have Any Dairy In It?

Accepted Answer

The DBH Hummus Company is 100% Dairy Free. That means our hummus, fresh pita bread, fresh baked pita chips, and salads sold at various Florida Farmers Markets do NOT have any dairy whatsoever. This also includes our Sun-Dried Tomato Basil "Feta" hummus because we use the Follow Your Heart Vegan Feta Crumbles.

We obviously use our hummus on our food trailer so you can rest assured that the majority of the food we serve on Death By: Hummuscide is Dairy Free. Our Grilled Pitzas and Loaded BBQ Chicken Pita Nachos have cheese but that's not added until the order is placed. We can easily make any item without cheese because everything is made fresh to order.
